Website Search Engine

Our website search engine is built to help you find what you are looking for fast! It provides robust browse and search capabilities designed with the buyer in mind.

SEARCH OPTIONS

Search across a variety of data, including:

  • Part number
  • Manufacturer part number
  • Customer part number
  • Item keyword
  • Item description
  • UPC (Universal Product Code)
  • Product categories


PREDICTIVE SEARCH
Our "Predictive Search" suggests possible search query matches based on partial search. If you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, our search engine will automatically display predictive type for the most relevant search terms based on the first few characters entered into the search field.


Search Box
As soon as you begin to type in the search box, the site will predict matching items, brands, or categories.  It will even display a preview image of likely product matches. 


IMAGE PREVIEW
When applicable, the search box will return image results to help you locate the products you need, before you’ve even finished typing the product name.


FILTER RESULTS
As you browse the website, use filters on category pages to drill down on specific products based on product attributes like material type, schedule rating, nominal size and more.

Our website display products by manufacturer, brand or category through a user-friendly interface that allows you to browse your online catalog.


ATTRIBUTE FILTERING
Allows you to narrow the list of product results on a page using multi-select filters for attributes such as brand, style, size, manufacturer, and more.


PRODUCT SORT

Allows you to browse and sort our catalog using keywords, manufacturer part numbers, brands, and part numbers.


PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE
showcases essential information that helps you make the right buying decision.

CUSTOMER PART NUMBER
Add your own unique part number to any item from the item detail page. This allows you to search on that part number the next time you return to our site.

MY PRODUCT GROUP BUTTON
Create a specific product group and assign multiple items. For example, our customers use this capability for saving items they purchase on a regular basis.


PRODUCT COMPARISON
Compare up to five products at one time, add to cart from the compare page, and turn highlight features on or off for each product.



Cart & Checkout


We understand the complexities of B2B buying. Our digital platform supports purchase orders, multiple levels of review, access to lines of credit, and more. We invest in supporting the B2B workflows your business requires.


SHOPPING CART
Add items to the cart from order history, a list, a detail page, or from a compare page. Save cart for a future visit.


PAYMENT OPTIONS
Pay using any major credit card or by purchase order.*
*PO payment requires active credit terms with BPS Supply Group.


SHIPPING METHODS
Choose to pick items up at our Will Call desk or have them shipped via UPS or custom freight.


MY SAVED CARTS
Return to saved carts from previous visits. Within the saved cart, make a variety of changes:

  • Share cart – email a link to your cart to others in your organization
  • Delete/update – easily remove or change quantities for any item in your cart
  • Collapse/expand – provide greater detail about each item in your cart with a collapse/expand feature that conserves screen space
  • Search – search for an item within any shopping cart
  • Select all – click a checkbox that selects all items in the cart


QUICK ORDER PAD
Quickly build your shopping cart by uploading a .csv file or simply copying and pasting from a spreadsheet directly into a convenient web-based order pad.

Quick Order Pad
A Quick Order Pad allows you to copy and paste bulk information from a spreadsheet directly into the web page, then add those items to your cart with a single click.


ORDER CONFIRMATION
See information regarding your completed order, post-checkout:

  • Order status – where your order stands in the process
  • Order number – unique number to identify each order
  • Shipping instructions – additional notes that were added for shipping instructions
  • Order notes – additional notes or instructions that were added to the order
  • Ship method – shipping method and carrier
  • Purchase order (PO) – confirm use of a PO for the order
  • Required by date – the date by when the order needs to be delivered

The app will provide benefits not typically associated with traditional mobile-responsive sites:


IMAGE RECOGNITION
Take a picture of any item you need to buy or replace, and the app will search the our inventory for that item.


OFFLINE SHOPPING CARTS
At a location that lacks reliable Wi-Fi or cellular hot spot? Scan the barcode of an item you need to purchase, and the app will add the item to an offline shopping cart. The cart syncs to the eCommerce store as soon as the your smart phone reconnects to Wi-Fi.


VOICE SEARCH
Speak directly into the app for items you want to search. The search results are optimized for voice-to-text matching.


FINGERPRINT SECURITY
Use the native fingerprint recognition on your phone to quickly and securely log into the BPS mobile app in order to access your account.

Our website self-serve features gives you the power to manage your relationship with BPS and access information at your fingertips, any day or time.


REGISTRATION
Register on the website to place orders, see order history, customer-specific pricing and more.


Registration Options:


  • Retail customer – can log in and place orders with our everyday low online pricing, see order history, check order status and access other self-serve website tools.
  • Current commercial customer – once approved for online access, enjoy the benefits of customer-specific pricing, lines of credit, the ability to view order history, invoices, and more. If you already have an account with BPS Supply Group, apply for online access here.


OPEN ORDERS
View and complete open orders (Bids) associated with your account.


TRACKING
Access tracking numbers for orders placed online.


ORDER HISTORY
Browse past orders to locate items previously purchased. Search order history by date range, PO, invoice number, or item. Re-order items directly from the order history page.


PUNCHOUT
We provide punchout capability that allows you to directly access our eCommerce catalog from within your procurement system, whether it be Ariba, SAP, Oracle, or any number of platforms.


We offer a unique “self-configurable” punchout capability, which allows you to configure new punchout requests with very little effort.


Request for quote (RFQ)

Log into your account and use our online entry form to create an RFQ for multiple items.

When the quote is complete it will be available in the Open Orders section of your online account.

Log in to your account and click "Request for Quote"


Claim Quote

When quote is complete, it will appear in the "Open Orders" report located on your "My Account" dashboard. Click the "View Order" icon to see details and move the Bid to the Cart.


Claim RFQ Step 2

Click "Re-Order" to add items from this quote to your cart and purchase. Orders will remain in "B" status until an Inside Sales Representative has reviewed the order and processed the transaction.
