Some electrical connections require a strong layer of mechanical protection while ensuring easy re-entry, and the 8 mil THK Scotch® tape 2520 does just that. It supports dielectric connections while staying intact and resistant to abrasion, punctures and scraping. This insulating tape stays in place after application with its pressure sensitive rubber resin adhesive. The backing is made of woven cotton cambric fabric, and it's oil primed and varnished with electrical-grade insulating varnish.
