3M™ ASJ facing tape 2C105 matches traditional ASJ insulation facings. It is a white kraft paper, scrim and foil laminated tape coated with a pressure sensitive, cold weather, solvent acrylic adhesive. This tape combines quick stick at normal temperatures with superior low temperature performance. It applies easily and excels in demanding temperature and humidity conditions. 3M™ ASJ facing tape 2C105 is a 7.5 mil, tri-directional reinforced tape that excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications. It is comprised of a kraft/scrim/foil laminated backing coated with a cold weather acrylic adhesive. The backing is flexible and conforms to irregular surfaces and curves. It features excellent performance in a range of temperature applications. Mold inhibiting agents help prevent the build-up of mold in the adhesive caused by humid and damp conditions. 3M™ ASJ facing tape 2C105 is coated with a proprietary, pressure sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive specifically designed for cold weather applications, though this adhesive performs well at normal and high temperatures as well. With a service temperature ranging from -40 deg F/-40 deg C to 240 deg F/116 deg C, this tape can be applied in a variety of environmental conditions. This adhesive features quick stick at normal temperatures and excellent low temperature performance. Once bonded, it will provide good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties that resist lifting and curling. 3M™ ASJ facing tape 2C105 applies easily to various types of thermal insulation and is easily installed without special tools or application methods. The ASJ facing is conformable for consistent application even when applied to irregular surfaces or around curves. It is also tri-directionally reinforced, helping ensure that the material stays in place even when subjected to high shear loads.
