Victaulic® COBN155PEZ Expansion Joint, 8 in, Grooved, Ductile Iron

Style 155 Expansion Joints are a combination of grooved couplings and short nipples, joined in tandem to provide increased expansion. The nipples are precisely grooved to provide full linear allowance at each joint. Style 155 Expansion Joints are offered from 3/4 to 12 in sizes. Style 155 grooved expansion joints are rated to the working pressure of the coupling used. The standard units are prepared with flexible couplings and grooved end nipples. Expansion joints are available assembled for fully expanded, fully contracted, or neutral positions based on system requirements. The ties holding the couplings in position must be removed after installation. Victaulic expansion joints may be used as flexible connectors; however, they will not simultaneously provide full expansion and full deflection. Expansion joints installed horizontally require independent support to prevent deflection which will reduce the available expansion.
